* In "doubles," teammates take turns playing a move for their side.  If A and B are playing white and C and D are black then the order is A C B D A C B D etc.

** In "two moves," teammates both move before hitting the clock!   Teammates A and B would each make a separate move, leaving the board in a legal position before white's turn is up.  One can play into check as long as the other gets out of it on that turn.  Then the clock is pressed and both black players move.
